circa 1972 or so - Pink Floyd had a song “Set the controls for the heart of the Sun “ a typically spacey song by them during that era. Perhaps it was on “A saucer full of secrets “??!! I know it to be on “ummagumma” as a live recording

Fastest forward 50 years or so and NASA seems to have listened to that, and recreated it as life imitating art?

It has successfully sent a sun probe grazing the the surface of the sun at the closest approach of any man made spacecraft.

It will be interesting to see what they have learned. and maybe ask them if they can send Elon Musk on the trip next time. j/k
